Work Experience

Chelsea Design Group Century City, CA (Mar 2023 – present)
Leading the design development and preparation of construction documents for a 35,000 sq. ft. interior office remodel. The project includes a state-of-the-art boardroom, training room, and a new open-to-sky courtyard designed to enhance natural light and provide an indoor-outdoor connection for employees. Helped address the unique challenges of integrating the project within the existing building envelope.

VALERIO ARCHITECTS INC. Los Angeles, CA (November 2021 – November 2022)
Prepared construction documents for a 2500 sf luxury retail project in Beverly Hills. Coordinated millwork shop drawings with the architectural construction documents and the client provided design package. Worked closely with the principal architects during the construction administration to successfully implement the design. 

MARCH STUDIO Santa Monica, CA (September 2019 – August 2020)
Played a key role developing unique designs on religious, early education, residential and fitness projects. Prepared drawings for the city filing processes.

ALLOI ARCHITECTURE + CONSTRUCTION Culver City, CA (February 2011 – August 2019)
Managed design and supervised construction on several project types. Project manager responsible for creating construction documents for a 20,000 sf church and coordinating the efforts of the drafting team and consultants. Helped develop the firm’s strengths in design-build project delivery by developing budgets and schedules and overseeing the subcontractors for custom residential projects.

PARALLAX ASSOCIATES Culver City, CA (April 2010- August 2010)
Assisted the project architect in preparing construction documents for the Sierra Canyon School Gymnasium; a project set into the hillside and designed to have a harmonious connection with the campus. Took charge of the final permit set preparation and assisted in the construction administration of the Brentwood School Gym locker room remodel.

THE ARCHITECTURE STUDIO Beverly Hills, CA (2008 September – 2009 November)
Worked on high-end residences that featured a variety of specialized amenities including pools and outdoor living spaces. Created renderings and material boards for client presentations. Generated custom details during construction.

DE ARCHITECTS Santa Monica, CA (2006 July – 2008 September)
Prepared design development drawings and construction documents for contemporary multifamily and mixed-use projects in Los Angeles, Pasadena and Santa Monica. Assisted in the approval processes and made field visits to clarify queries during construction.

DAVID JAY FLOOD ARCHITECT Santa Monica, CA (2005 August – 2006 July)
Prepared graphics and 3D renderings for several notable design proposals including William H Hannon library on the Loyola Marymount University campus. Worked with the job captain on design development drawings for student housing for California State University Channel Islands.
